Listen and Look (September 9, 2011)
Congratulations to Nathan Ellis and Emily Love on their fabulous wedding this past weekend! Ele and I had the pleasure of being a part of their special day. Although it was probably the hottest wedding day of the year with near 100 degree heat and 100% humidity, everything turned out great! Here are a few still images we grabbed off the timeline from their upcoming wedding movie and also some audio of the Niles Quartet. Enjoy!
Congrats to Candice and Bryan Phillips! (July 21, 2011)
Married at Talon Winery in Lexington, Kentucky on July 16, 2011, Candice and Bryan had a fantastic wedding. An excellent dancing crowd with Kevin Dj'ing, DaRae and Friends providing the catering, a very tasty cake by Cameron Tinker, and Frank Becker as their official photographer. A fantastic team of vendors = Kudos Candice and Bryan!

Dear Kevin, As parents of the bride (Barb Whiteman-Matt Durrett wedding) last Saturday, July 2nd (2011), we could not have been more pleased with your professional musical additions. Besides being flexible to accompany our niece, Julie Roberts, your music and sound equipment were much appreciated. As a family that also appreciates all kinds of music, we recognize talent and those that enjoy sharing with others. Our nephew, Scott McColgin, was casually capturing video memories during the evening. (Scott also is director of videography at a large church in Indianapolis, IN) One of our many favorite clips was you playing background music during the reception, with computer on board, AND talking pleasantly to Pat about details....What a tribute to successful multi-tasking!! :) Your personal DJ skills during the dance in the library at Spindletop Hall were also excellent. The sound all evening seemed perfect and we know that takes much work especially working outdoors, indoors, and with all types of individuals speaking during toasts etc.
With fresh good Lexington information on our minds after we arrived home, I did a Google search for other Lexington landmarks we saw mentioned in literature. Researching Thoroughbred Park I quickly recognized *your name* on a link to ORIGINAL MUSIC AND VIDEO PRODUCTION FROM FALL 2010!! Congratulations on another beautiful piece.
With sincere thanks and best wishes always. We were very happy Matt and Barb chose you to help with their wedding. They researched vendors and you were a favorite from the beginning of their searching.

The Coal Reserve (Updated) (June 25, 2011)
Congrats to Charlotte and Frank Ikerd on their wedding last weekend! Ele and I had a fantastic time capturing their wedding at The Coal Reserve and are looking forward to sharing the footage from this wonderful day. A special thanks go out to Brice Burton! Suzy and Bill Knott were married at Centre College on June 4, 2011. Great wedding guys! Huge shout out to Stephanie, Steven, and Lori for their assistance this past weekend. Love the reception venue (new Student Center at Centre) - very conducive for a wedding reception.

Congratulations to Courtney and Frankie Ikerd! What an absolutely fantastic wedding day at The Coal Reserve! I think you'll agree with the preceding statement, and enjoy seeing the video Ele and I are producing from this day, including a helicopter landing at the wedding ceremony, lots of friends and family, and some fantastic wedding day music. We are looking forward to the next wedding at the Coal Reserve in a couple of weeks. Previews to come soon!
Congrats to Lee and Ray! (April 18, 2011)
Although cool, windy, and a little rainy this past Saturday, we had a great time with my jazz quintet at Lee and Ray's wedding at the Marriott Mansion house.
Starting with the ceremony, Dave (sax) and I (on piano) performed a variety of songs including Kenny G's The Wedding Song, America The Beautiful (Ray Charles style), Try to Remember, and Annie's song, as well as our usual eclectic mix of jazz favorites.
After the ceremony finished, we started some pre-recorded music during the cocktail for a few minutes as we transitioned and then Cheryl (vocals), joined the rest of our jazz group which included drums and an acoustic bass player.
When you work out at the Marriott Mansion, and with a 5-piece jazz group, space is limited inside, which is why we placed a wirelessly connected speaker inside the house so that people inside could hear the music being played outside on the patio. This is something we regularly provide for our wedding customers.

Spring Valley Golf Club / Dottie's Catering (March 4, 2011)
Enjoyed spending time with Dottie and Dan yesterday. The Spring colors won't be in full bloom for a couple of weeks, but here are two shots of the ProShop. Ele and I participated in Bayou's Open House this past week where Matt and Angie featured a large selection of their menu. The diversity and quality of food was fantastic. We created a short video from this event which can be seen on this page. Enjoy!
