I was recalling one of our private Christmas parties from last year. Heather and Pat were gracious hosts. Numerous artistians were present including Crist Creona. Sarah and Jeremiah were married at Spindletop Hall on September 13, 2008. Wonderful wedding. Provided DJ services and ceremony PA. Todd Pellowe was their official photographer (check his blog for pics in a couple of weeks), Alicia DeBoor was the wedding coordinator, and Brenda and Troy did the cake (wonderful). Kudos! --kev
The Boone Faculty club finished remodeling a month or two ago after being closed for many years. I'm sure there are plenty of openings on their calendar at this point in time. Saturday's bride says they are very accommodating right on menu selections, restrictions, pricing, and so forth as they are looking to get the dates filled up. Will have more info as well as pics after tomorrow evening's reception. Worth looking into if you are having trouble finding a suitable location that is open on your date...kev

I love the look of this private dining room from last night (Keeneland Concours d'Elegance). The accent lighting at this event really made for a nice atmosphere. This is the small room to the left of the larger Kentucky room on the fourth floor.
Whoops! I totally forgot to snap a photo at last weeks wedding! Hopefully Angela Anderson will have some photos on her blog of it. Alice and Alex had an easy going cocktail flavored reception at the Norton Center in Danville, KY on May 31, 2008. I really like the layout of the entire lobby. The acoustics were wonderful there, and with all the artwork on the walls, it is definitely one of the nicest settings to play in for a performer. Here is one of the songs we played at their reception with our jazz quartet (first one in the playlist right now)...I Love Paris! We always like to add a new twist to an old song...enjoy! --kev

Enjoy these highlights from Erika and Scott's wedding that was on May 10th. Their ceremony was held at St. Mark in Richmond, Kentucky and the reception was at Arlington Country Club. Other vendors involved were Joey and the Cruisers (reception band), Commonwealth Musicians (ceremony), and Martines Pastries for the cake. Tara Young was their official photographer and yours truly was documenting on video. The reception was a blast! Wonderful energy! --kev
