Comments from Kevin: The Bluegrass Pavilion (semi-permanent tent) behind the Marriott is a really great place to have a reception. It is one of the best tents and locations I've come across recently. There is a pretty cool little bar area to mingle outside the tent with a view of the golf course and some playground equipment for the kids.You can also have a ceremony on the brick area out back.The Marriott has new catering staff in place (Spring 2004) and they've cleaned up their act putting customer service as a top priority. See the photos below...these were taken June 2004 at a wedding I Dj 'd. I'd be happy to put you in touch with the parents of the bride...we had blast! Price range: minimum for a Marriott wedding is $5,500. Large ballroom is in the $10K range.
